Guided synthetic visit

You lead the visit.
We play the patient.

Try an initial evaluation or medication follow-up. Speak the clinician lines aloud and hear the patient's recorded replies, with time for you to respond.

Maya Demo · Depression intake

You · read aloud

“Maya, before we begin, is it okay if I record our conversation to help draft my note? What brings you in today?”

Maya · patient audio

“Yes, recording is okay. For about three months I've felt down most days, and things I used to enjoy barely interest me.”

An excerpt from the fictional conversation. You supply the clinician's voice.

1 · Choose a visit

Meet your demo patient.

Each patient has a first appointment and a follow-up four weeks later. You can preview either without creating an account.

2 · Try it in Psynopsis

Record the visit. Review the draft.

The player supplies the conversation. Your Psynopsis account captures it and generates the note. Choose how you'll record before you start.

Recording method
  1. Open your Psynopsis account

Sign in, or create a free account with five test hours. Provider signup asks for an NPI. Use a fictional demo patient chart for this visit.

  2. Let the microphone hear both voices

Play the patient track on a separate phone or computer near your recording microphone. Sound played by the recording computer can be filtered out as echo, even when its speakers are loud. For a single-computer setup, use the Chrome extension to capture tab audio and your microphone. Audio heard only through headphones will not reach the web app's microphone.

  3. Start recording, then play the visit

Start an encounter recording in the web app and wait until recording is active before pressing play in the visit player. Speak the clinician lines during the silent windows and let the patient answer. Check the first exchange in your transcript to make sure both voices arrive.

Your selection is Maya Demo · Initial evaluation. There is a six-second lead-in. Pause whenever you need more time.

  4. Review the transcript and draft note

Stop the Psynopsis recording, review the transcript, and assign it to your demo patient. Choose the matching initial evaluation template to generate a draft. Compare it with the player's expected-facts checklist and review every detail before finalizing.

All patients and histories are fictional. These short visits demonstrate the workflow and are not complete clinical assessments. Medication doses and visual examination findings are not established by the audio.
